The Village Sisters, Onjena Yo, Coach TJ and Rynaidrosa, started Village Values with a simple idea: it takes a village… and snacks. But underneath the humor was something deeper. A quiet rebellion against what we grew up hearing about “family values”… not the love part that we were familiar with… the narrow part. The kind that only made room for one type of familly, one set of beliefs, one kind of story. Our family was loud and mixed and taught to listen, laugh and learn. Village Values is a space for stories that don’t fit neatly in boxes and always come from the heart.
